Four of the most helpful services Jerika provided were her thorough birth planning process, her continuous text/call availability, her inclusion of my partner, and her spinning babies knowledge. During the birth planning process, Jerika laid out detailed information about my options for various labor situations. This left me feeling equipped for any situation that might arise. Jerika was also always available via text throughout my pregnancy. This was an invaluable service. I asked so many questions that Jerika provided detailed information for me and my partner. Jerika made a point to check in with my partner and ensure he felt included and empowered alongside me. Lastly, Jerika’s knowledge and experience with spinning babies physiological movements helped me feel capable and confident in my body. Unlike typical healthcare providers who look at our body’s problems, Jerika took a wellness approach and helped me see my body as healthy and strong. This perspective allowed me to feel calm and confident when preparing and while in labor. Jerika helped me know my body and my baby were in good condition and perfectly built for birth."
I cannot recommend Jerika enough. She was an incredible support throughout my entire pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey with our second son. From the very beginning, she made me feel informed, empowered, and cared for. Her childbirth education sessions during pregnancy were so helpful and calming, even with already having had a baby before.
During my labor, she was an amazing presence and addition to my team, she was steady, comforting, and completely in tune with what I needed. I truly don’t know how I would have made it through without her.
After the birth of my son, she continued to check in regularly, offer guidance and reassurance, support and referrals if needed, all of which made such a difference in those early postpartum weeks. She also encapsulated my placenta and handled the whole process with professionalism, care, and clear communication.

"We first found Jerika because we were looking for a post-partum doula to help out with one or two nights a week. We (and our son) loved Jerika so much that after our parental leave periods ended and we went back to work, she transitioned to providing care for our son while we worked (we both had hybrid office/wfh schedules). What started as new parents just wanting a qualified professional who could care for our newborn while we caught up on sleep turned into nearly a year of more than we ever could have dreamed of! "I was a little later in my pregnancy when I sought out doula services but then I came across Jerika’s bio and something just clicked where I knew I’d want her support during this transformative time. She was always one text away from the support I needed providing me with evidence based information on any question I had. During our prenatal visit I love how she included my partner and helped him through some of his fear/confusion about the birthing process. When labor started my little one didn’t seem to be in the proper position so Jerika helped me for hours with different positions me and my partner could do which I think was key to me being able to manage labor at home as long as I did. Once at the hospital her calm presence was very appreciated. She gave me the space to labor on my own but instinctually knew when I needed a little more support. I’m so happy that I chose Jerika to be there for my birth!"
"I found Daisy Doula Services on Google as I was looking for someone who does placenta capsulation and I do not regret choosing her! She was super responsive and able to pick up my placenta and bring it back finished the next day!

"Absolutely wonderful experience with Daisy Doula Jerika!
Jerika worked with our family and our 6-month-old baby for about 10 weeks, and I can’t say enough amazing things about her. She is incredibly kind, gentle, and knowledgeable—everything you could ever hope for in a doula and postpartum nanny. From the very first day, she made sure that not only I felt completely at ease but my baby was also happy in her care. The first few visits she made sure to ask questions and stay with me so baby didn’t think she was just taking her away.
Jerika is thoughtful, patient, and attentive to every detail. She was always timely, consistent, and professional, but also brought such warmth to our home. I learned so much from her about baby care, postpartum recovery, and birth—she’s truly a wealth of knowledge and someone you can talk to for hours. "I selected a doula quite late in my pregnancy, but I'm glad I made that decision! Jerika was very helpful and calming, before but especially during my birthing experience. My baby came out fast and furious and Jerika stayed calm and soothing despite how chaotic everything was. She also stayed much longer than she needed to after my daughter was born, because I had experienced a lot of blood loss and she wanted to make sure I was okay. Throughout the whole thing, she provided my husband and me with tons of resources and info that helped us be more prepared for birth. I'll be going to her for my next pregnancy if she's available! I loved my experience. I would have had a much harder time during labor if Jerika hadn't been there. I appreciate everything she did for us in the short time that we had her as our doula. Also, my doctor for the delivery (Dr. Deyerle) loved working with her!"
"I found Jerika through my midwife and I was super excited to go through the process of getting my placenta encapsulated. I was set to be induced but the hospital was struggling to get a bed for me. Jerika worked with my wishy-washy schedule and made me feel very comfortable. She was super helpful when it came to picking up placenta due to my transportation issues at the time . Her work was amazing. I loved my placenta prints, and I'd definitely recommend her to my friends and family."
